It’s been a hectic and all consuming few months here at the Mag’s headquarters for myself and my family as we’ve had to pull up stakes from our home on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast and transition to the bustling city of Vancouver. Trading panoramic ocean views from a 100-year-old house in a quiet village for a sea of high rises has presented challenges. As a result Resistor Mag coverage has been reduced to a handful of articles, and while on the surface things may appear almost dormant, behind the scenes the work continues as I remain committed to researching and editing several articles, interviews and reviews with the lesser-known music, denizens and hardware of this strangely comforting pursuit know as high fidelity.
Look to this space for a number of articles and columns in the upcoming weeks and months as we find new grooves to drop the needle in and continue to bring our readership those voices and stories often lost to the white noise of new, newer, and newest which mainstream high-fidelity media continues to focus on. Thanks for your patience, and most of all thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the supporters out there who continue to donate their hard-earned dollars, and the advertisers who align with Resistor so I can keep bringing you hi-fi for low lifes.

Think of this like an online subscription. Your donation supports a unique space for me to smash-up music journalism, alternative culture, high fidelity reviews and give volume to those stories and voices lost in the white noise of mainstream hi-fi media. Plus, beer money.
